Actos is used for the second (non-dependent) diabetes type. In the cases like this the level of sugar in the blood needs to be controlled and the medicine can be taken alone or in complex with dieting and training program or insulin therapy.

The drug should be taken according to the instruction on a regular basis either with meals or not. In case you left out a dose do not try to make up for it taking two at once. It can be dangerous.
