Anti Depressants

Antidepressants represent psychiatric medicines taken to treat various mood disorders from mild form (dystinis) to depression in its broad sense. There are several types of depression medications: TCAs, TeCAs, SSRIs, SNRIs and MAOIs. These medicines nowadays bare broadly prescribed by practitioners and psychiatrists as they are considered effective in alleviating depression symptoms by increasing the neurotransmitters' availability in the brain. However, many of these remedies are known to prodice side effects even though they are proved highly effecitve for the purpose. The most well-known antidepressants are St John's Wort, Lexapro, Pamelor, Effexor XR, Paxil and Zyprexa.

Commonly antidepressants act quite slowly so they are usually applied for several weeks, months or even years during the course. Antidepressants are commonly differentiated from stimulants and medicines taken only for rapid coming of euphoria. No matter what their name is, antidepressants are usually taken for curing several other diseases, as bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, chronic spasms, and eating disorders. Several examples are also called "mood brighteners" and considered to be lifestyle drugs.
