For the treatment of contagions originating from the caseworm (dog tapeworm) and measly tapeworm (pork tapeworm) activities in the organism vermicide Albenza (albendazole) is prescribed. Its working mechanism functions in a way that it interferes with the further spread of the worm on the organism. This doesn't refer to viral infections.

The medication will take a period of time to show its effect, so the instruction should be followed precisely. It must be taken with meals and sometimes the therapy is tricyclic meaning that the drug is taken three times for a month with a fortnight break between each of them.

It is recommended that you make your physician aware of any allergic responses to albendazole, resembling medications or other drugs, of the illnesses you have (liver problems and etc.). The medicine can be dangerous to the fetus so it is better to be checked with the doctor. The medicine weakens the resistant ability of the immune system, so refrain from sick people and be generally careful about your health.
