The medication refers to sympathomimetic (beta agonist) bronchodilators. Therapeutic indications are asthma or certain other airway diseases.

The medication represents a controlled-release medication. The mode of administration presupposes that the medicine should be taken whole. Do not make any transformation to the pills. The medication should be taken during the whole period of therapy. Do not make up for the left out dose taking two pills at once.

Contraindications: allergy to the drug or resembling medicines, current therapy with another sympathomimetic. Other contraindications: heart problems, blood vessel problems, high blood pressure, seizures, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, kidney illness, current therapy with MAOI or tricyclic antidepressant, and other serious conditions. Do not combine the remedy with any drugs before you check the interaction with the doctor (this refers to diuretics, COMT inhibitors, epinephrine, beta-blockers, digoxin, and some others). Breast-feeding and nursing women should not take the medication without a proper consultation as it might be harmful for a baby and for a fetus.

The medication can have side-effects, evoke sleepiness and giddiness; and should you have disturbing symptoms or overdose consult your doctor.
