Generic Allegra-d Active Ingredient: Fexofenadine-pseudophedrine

In active state histamine increases in the organism and we start to sneeze, get watery eyes and runny nose and unpleasant itching. To relieve these symptoms Allegra-D is used. It differs from Allegra in the way that it has an optional ingredient - the nasal decongestant pseudoephedrine.

The medication should be taken with water either with meals or not without any transformation to the tablet. The instruction on administration should be closely followed. Do not exceed the prescribed norm and do not make up for a left out dose taking more medicine at a time than needed.

Refrain from the following stuff taken simultaneously with the medicine: MAO-inhibitors, fruit juice, medications for allergy or common cold, antacids. It is important that your physician was made aware if you use ketoconazole or erythromycin, and the following: Mecamylamine, Methyldopa, Reserpine. make sure you do not have a pacemaker and take digoxin, take it simultaneously with other antihistamines and decongestants.

Allergic response to any medications, high blood pressure, diabetes, prostate problems, disease of kidneys, glaucoma, urination problems, pregnancy and period breast-feeding might be the conditions when Allegra-D is contraindicated.
