Generic Aricept

The medication is designed for the treatment of conditions of dementia induced by Alzheimer's disease. It usually functions in a way that it interferes with the crack-up of acetylcholine (chemical responsible for the mental processes).

Refrain from taking the drug provided you have hypersensitivity to Aricept. Contraindications for the usage of the medication are "sick sinus syndrome", ulcers, epilepsy or urination problems or asthma. Pregnant and nursing women are advised to consult the doctor before taking the medication.

Take the medication should be taken either with meals or not washed down with water before going to bed. It is supposed to be taken regularly not exceeding the dose and prescribed period. Any termination should be discussed with the doctor. Should you leave out a dose do not make up for it taking two at once as it may evoke overdose and unwanted effects.
