Generic Benzac

The generic name for the medication is Benzoyl peroxide topical and it is purposed for the treatment of acne. It works by drying the excessive oils and dirt from the skin making it more pliant for cleaning.

The mode of administration presupposes that you wash your hands and jolt the lotion before usage. The treated skin required to be clean and dry; thin layer of the medication is applied on it. The procedure should be carried out thrice every day. Provided you left out the time of administration do not apply double amount the next time. Follow the administration label precisely and do not exceed the necessary amount. The medication can require a prolonged time to show any effects sometimes up to a couple of weeks. Notify the doctor about how the therapy goes.

Try not to combine the medication with tretinoin (Altinac, Renova, Retin-A, Avita, Tretin-X). The medicine is not recommended for pregnant and beast-feeding women. Be careful and do not touch your eyes while applying the medication; do not combine it with the stuff that can cause any disturbing skin sensations (i.e. shampoos, or skin cleansers, etc.).

It is not expected that overdose can be dangerous and adverse effects represent some serious subject for concern nevertheless be careful both with the medication itself and cases of its combining with other drugs.
