It is a preparation of a NSAID (generic name of the drug is diclofenac). Therapeutic indications: arthritis, osteoarthritis, menstrual pain, or mild to moderate pain.

The mode of administration: the medicine must be taken on a regular basis not exceeding the prescribed amount. Should you leave out a dose do not try to make up for it taking a double one. The drug should be washed down with a glass of water. Do not make any transformation to the extended-release pills.

Contraindications: hypersensitive response to the medication, aspirin or an NSAID; heart bypass surgery. Other possible contraindications: history of liver or kidney illnesses, asthma, high blood pressure, blood disorders, hearing problems, poor health, dehydration or low fluid volume, also growths in the nose, diabetes, or stomach or bowel problems. The medicine is dangerous for a fetus and infant therefore pregnant and nursing women are advised to consult the doctor before taking it. The additional medications you need to take must be checked with the physician: anticoagulants, aspirin, corticosteroids, probenecid, cyclosporine, lithium, methotrexat, ACE inhibitors, diuretics, and some others.
