The medication under generic name tranexamic acid is intended for the excessive bleeding prevention and also in people with hemophilia in the process of tooth extraction. It works by stopping the enzymes in the body from breaking down blood clots.

The remedy is not intended for the long-term usage, it is generally taken for 2-8 days in the amount of 3-4 tablets taken per day.

Contraindications: allergic reaction to the drug, have blood clots or eye problems, if you are colorblind. The following conditions may require additional attention: states of pregnancy and nursing, problems with liver and kidneys, upper respiratory tract bleeding or else. Do not combine the drug with factor IX complex concentrates, anti-inhibitor coagulant concentrates, or tretinoin.
