Generic Demadex

The medication refers to loop diuretics and is intended for the cure of edema (swelling) originating from the following conditions: heart, kidney, or liver failure, or when there is excess of body water. It can also be prescribed for the treatment of hypertension. The mechanism of its function works in a way that it induces the kidneys release larger amounts of electrolytes and water than usual.

Contraindications: intolerance response to Demadex or to sulfonylureas or some medications, or if you have problems with urination. The following conditions may require additional attention: problems with liver and kidneys, other allergies, fluid in your abdomen, hearing impairment, diabetes mellitus, low urine output, high blood uric acid levels, a blood disorder. Pregnant and breast-feeding women are not recommended to take the drug because it might be harmful to a fetus and an infant. Do not combine the drug with aminoglycosides or cisplatin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, chloral hydrate, digitalis, lithium, suramin, nondepolarizing muscle relaxants.

The remedy is intended to be taken either with meals or not. Should you leave out a dose do not make up for it taking two at once as it may evoke overdose and unwanted effects. Be careful giving it to kids and elderly people.
