Generic name of the medicine is tolterodine. It's a preparation of an antimuscarinic agent and is intended for treatment of overactive bladder. It bars chemicals that cause contractions of the bladder.

Contraindications: intolerance response to Detrol, narrow-angle glaucoma, trouble urinating or slowed emptying of stomach. Other possible contraindications: a blockage of the bladder, stomach, or bowel, dementia, liver or kidney problems, irregular heartbeat, myasthenia gravis and etc. The drug can be incompatible with antiarrhythmics, miconazole, clarithromycin, erythromycin, ketoconazole, cyclosporine, itraconazole, or vinblastine and some other medications therefore you should be careful taking them together.
