Generic name of the medicine is rivastigmine. It's a preparation of a cholinesterase inhibitor and is intended for the treatment of mild to moderate dementia in patients with Alzheimer disease or Parkinson disease. It increases the amount of Acetylcholine in the brain.

Contraindications: intolerance response to Exelon, a history of kidney, lung, breathing, stomach or heart problems, seizures and some others. Do not combine the medication with NSAIDs, cholinergic agents, cholinesterase inhibitors, anticholinergics. Pregnant and breast-feeding women are forbidden to take it.

The remedy is intended to be taken with the morning and evening meals on a regular basis. It is required that whole course of treatment was completed and no abrupt termination in administration made. Do not make up for a left out dose taking more medicine at a time than needed.
