Generic name of the medicine is nitrofutantoin. It is a preparation of an antibiotic. Therapeutic indication: urinary tract infections.

Contraindications: intolerance response to furazolidone, G6PD deficiency, diabetes, anemia, kidney, liver, lung illness, or any other chronic illness. The drug can be also incompatible with antacids that contain magnesium trisilicate, quinolone antibiotics, sulfinpyrazone and probenecid, and also some others therefore you should be careful taking them together.
