Generic name of the medication is pyridostigmine and it is intended for the treatment of myasthenia gravis. It works by helping the muscles to work better.

Contraindications: intolerance response to the drug, therapy with quinine or quinidine, condition of a stomach, intestinal, or urinary blockage, heart , kidney or urinary tract problems, asthma. The drug is of danger to an infant and a fetus therefore it is forbidden for the women that are in the state of pregnancy or nursing. Do not give it to children.

The drug requires to be taken either with or without food. Should you leave out a dose do not make up for it taking two at once. Be careful combining the remedy with quinine or quinidine and succinylcholine.
