Generic name of the medicine is isosorbide mononitrate. The preparation refers to nitrate vasodilators and functions by widening the blood vessels in the body. Therapeutic indication is angina (chest pain) originating from heart disease.
The medication is supposed to be taken on a regular basis either with meals or not. The remedy should be taken two times a day with the interval of 7 hours; no termination of administration should be made at self-will.
