Generic name of the medicine is fosinopril. It is a preparation of an ACE inhibitor. Therapeutic indication: hypertension and heart failure.

Contraindications: intolerance response to fosinopril, kidney or liver illness, heart or blood vessel disease, bone marrow disease, low blood pressure, hypersensitivity to drugs or foods that should be assessed by the doctor, and some others. The drug can be also incompatible with lithium, antacids, high blood pressure medicines, potassium salts or supplements, diuretics, NSAIDs, and some others therefore you should be careful taking them together. Pregnant and breast-feeding women are recommended to consult a doctor before taking the drug in order not to harm a baby and an infant. Do not take any cough, cold or pain medicines unless you consult them with the physician.

The remedy is intended to be taken on a regular basis with water. It is required that the drug is taken at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Do not exceed the necessary dose. Do not make up for a left out dose taking more medicine at a time than needed and do not terminate the administration suddenly.
