Generic name of the medicine is nevibolol. The preparation refers to beta-blockers and functions by lessening the workload on the heart and assisting it in beating more regularly. Therapeutic indication is hypertension.

The medication is supposed to be taken on a regular basis with water. Do not exceed the necessary amount or the prescribed period of administration; no abrupt termination of administration should be made at self-will as it may lead to various adverse effects. The medication is incompatible with sotalol, cimetidine, digoxin, clonidine, paroxetine, guanethidine, quinidine,verapamilm, sildenafil, and etc. Refrain from alcohol and cigarettes being on the therapy with the drug.

Nebilet can make you giddy and sleepy and has other more serious adverse effects (it is able to influence blood sugar levels or evoke ulcers and bleeding in the stomach and intestines). Adverse effects of the medication can be mild and severe and in case you experience any, or you overdosed apply to your doctor for help.
