Neurotin (Gabarone) is an anti-epileptic or anti-convulsive drug. The active compound (gabapentin) affects seizures and reduces some pains. It is intended for adults and children above 12 years old.

Neurotin is not recommended in case you are allergic to gabapentin, have heart, kidneys or liver problems. Don't drink alcohol and if you take an antacid do it 2 hours before or after Neurontin.

It is important for the drag to be taken regularly and the amount to be reduced gradually.

The medication has a number of side effects (some of them are more frequent with kids) and may affect your behavior, create depressive mood, cause some allergic and vision reactions.

The drug can be taken as a whole tablet or by halves and should be measured with a special spoon if taken liquid; kept away from children and stored in refrigerator far from light and moisture.
