Generic name of the medicine is phenytoin. It's a preparation of an anticonvulsant drug and is intended for prevention and treatment of seizures originating from undergone brain or nervous system surgery. The medication is presented in the form of extended-release capsules and functions by barring the seizure activity from further spreading.

It is crucial to be careful while combining the medication with different drugs and equally important not to not to do it unless you talk to the doctor for fear of their dangerous interaction.
