The medication is a penicillin antibiotic. Generic name is ampicillin capsules and it is presupposed for the treatment of different bacteria-originating contagions. It functions by stopping the bacteria to grow and spread.

Contraindications: allergy to the drug or any particular drugs, condition of mononucleosis, provided you have received live oral typhoid vaccine lately, and some else. Consult the doctor provided you are pregnant and nursing. Be careful combining the drug with aminoglycosides, probenecid, allopurinol, anticoagulants, tetracyclines and etc.

The mode of administration presupposes the medication to be taken with water half hour before or 2 hours after eating. Do not exceed the prescribed norm and do not make up for a left out dose taking more medicine at a time than needed. Should you leave out a dose do not make up for it taking two at once as it may evoke overdose and unwanted effects.
