Slo-bid refers to oral bronchodilator medications. Generic name is theophylline. Therapeutic indications are asthma, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema.

Provided you have intoloerance to the drug or resembling medicines make your doctor aware of it. An active peptic ulcer or a seizure disorder and other serious conditions can be contraindications for the therapy with the drug. Do not combine the remedy with any drugs before you check the interaction with the doctor. Pregnant and nursing women should be careful with the medicine and get a proper consultation beforehand.

The medication represents a time-release medication. The medication must be taken without any transformation on a regular basis. The medication should be taken during the whole period of therapy. Do not make up for the left out dose taking two pills at once. An immediate-release medication and not a double or larger amount of theophylline should be taken in case of acute attack.
