Generic name of the medicine is itraconazole. It is a preparation of an azole antifungal. Therapeutic indication: fungal infections.

Contraindications: intolerance response to Sporanox, recent therapy for a fungal infection of the toenail or fingernail, a history of heart problems, current therapy with certain medications like an aldosterone blocker, alprazolam, astemizole, dofetilide, certain HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors and some others.
