Generic name of the medicine is amoxicillin. It is a preparation of a penicillin antibiotic. Therapeutic indication: different contagions and if combined with other medications - for Helicobacter pylori infection and intestines ulcer. It is not designed for the viral infections treatment.

Contraindications: intolerance response to Trimox or another penicillin antibiotic, infectious mononucleosis, recent live oral typhoid vaccine. Other possible contraindications: asthma, hay fever, hives, a severe allergic reaction, kidney problems or gonorrhea, and some others. The drug can be also incompatible with anticoagulants, probenecid, chloramphenicol, macrolide and tetracycline antibiotics, methotrexate, sulfonamides or hormonal birth control pills, and some others therefore you should be careful taking them together. Pregnant women are recommended to consult a doctor before taking the drug and breast-feeding ones are prohibited to take it.

The remedy is intended to be taken on a regular basis. It is advised that full course of treatment was completed and not recommended to stop administration abruptly. Do not make up for a left out dose taking more medicine at a time than needed.
