Generic name of the medicine is alfuzosin. It is a preparation of an alpha-blocker. Therapeutic indication: benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with an enlarged prostate.

Contraindications: intolerance response to Uroxatral, liver illness, current therapy with an alpha-blocker (eg, prazosin), an azole antifungal or an HIV protease inhibitor.
