The medication refers to "antihelmintics," or anti-worm, medications and is designed for the interference with the spread and growth of different kinds of worms that cause infections in the organism. They are whipworm, pinworm, roundworm, and hookworm acting alone or several at the same time.

It is not advised for pregnant and breast-feeding women and children younger than 2 years of age.
