Generic name of the medicine is bupropion. It refers to antidepressants and assists in the treatment of depressive states.

Contraindications: intolerance response to Wellbutrin or any other medicine containing bupropion, an eating disorder and seizures, recent therapy with a MAOI . Other possible contraindications: a history of bipolar disorder, diabetes, kidney or liver problems, a recent heart attack, a tumor in the brain or spinal cord and some others. The drug can be incompatible with amantadine, antipsychotics, corticosteroids, insulin, levodopa, carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin, antiarrhythmics, beta-blockers, SSRIs or tricyclic antidepressants and some others therefore you should be careful taking them together. Pregnant and breast-feeding women are forbidden to take it.

The remedy is intended to be taken on a regular basis with meals; 6-hour interval should be preserved between the administrations. The medication requires time to produce effect.
