Generic name of the drug is lisinopril and hydrochlorothiazide. It is a combination of an ACE-inhibitor and thiazide diuretic. Therapeutic indications: hypertension.

Contraindications: intolerance response to Zestoretic or any other sulfonamide medicine, a history of angioedema, kidney artery narrowing, problems with urination, also current therapy with dofetilide or ketanserin. Other possible contraindications: blood vessel problems, heart disease gout, diabetes, electrolyte imbalances, a collagen vascular disorder, bone marrow problems or severe immune system problems, and some others. The drug can be also incompatible with some aldosterone blockers, barbiturates, corticosteroids, NSAIDs, gold-containing medicines, insulin, sulfonylureas, and some other remedies therefore you should be careful taking them together. Pregnant women and breast-feeding ones are prohibited to take it.
