Generic Ziac Active Ingredient: Biosoprolol - Hydrochlorothiazide

The active compounds of Ziac are hydrochlorothiazide and bisoprolol. The former is a diuretic and helps your organism get rid of excessive salt; the latter is a beta-blocker and it influences the blood circulation. The medication is purposed for hypertension and fluid retention.

Avoid using it in case if you are unable to urinate or have allergy to hydrochlorothiazide. Problems with kidneys or liver, asthma, cirrhosis, gout, diabetes, and else should be discussed with the doctor before taking the medication. It is forbidden to patients with heart failure, "sick sinus syndrome" or "AV block," with hypersensitivity to hydrochlorothiazide or bisoprolol or sulfa drugs, or if you cant urinate; pregnant and nursing women should not take it. Alcohol, medications making you feel dizzy and dehydration are not advisable during the period of medication administration. Try not to be overexposed to the sun and heat. Your doctor should be made known about all medications you take simultaneously to adjust the treatment and avoid undesired side effects.

Take the medication according to the prescription for the whole period of therapy not exceeding the dose and prescribed period. Do not make up for the left out dose taking two pills at once. Should you have any symptoms of overdose (nausea, dizziness or else) seek medical aid.
